Bill TaylorManaging Director
Bill established William Taylor Insurance in 1968 after coming from a life assurance background. Although semi-retired, Bill is still very active in the day-to-day running of the company and maintains a portfolio of clients. Bill’s particular areas of expertise are motor trade, marine and business combined insurance.
Emma TaylorDirector
Emma has worked for the family business since leaving college, and in the last 25 years has moved up to director. As well as working alongside Bill in running the company, Emma built and administered the Sweet William Day Care Nursery scheme. Emma’s areas of expertise include property owner’s insurance and legal expenses.
Ian HensbyGeneral Manager
Ian has over 30 years’ experience in the industry. After starting out as an adviser for life insurance with Prudential Assurance, Ian moved to William Taylor Insurance and specialised in commercial insurance (particularly motor trade insurance). Ian is responsible for an exclusive client portfolio covering many areas of commercial insurance. His areas of expertise include claims handling, property owner’s insurance and motor trade insurance.
Karen PizzeyHuman Resources
Karen is Personal Assistant to the Managing Director, having worked for Bill Taylor since 1999. Karen is also responsible for human resources within the company, in addition to administration and the office accounting.
Colleen FarmerAccounts Payable
Colleen has worked at William Taylor Insurance for almost 10 years and is responsible for reconciliation of insurer accounts.

Neil has 27 years’ experience in the insurance industry, with 20 years at William Taylor Insurance. Neil brings a broad knowledge of all personal lines insurance – both motor and non-motor – and has an excellent relationship with our clients. Neil’s particular areas of expertise are private car, travel and commercial vehicle insurance.
